ok im wishin everyone a very belated HAPPY NEW YEAR!
its the time of the year again when resolutions are made and quickly broken. ergo, i dun bother. but of course, as usual, i NEED to be more hardworking and smarter. every start of the year i'll be determined to do so but when the term starts, its slackin time again. -sighs- my grades arent climbing as fast as i hoped and its all bcos ive been screwing up the finals. but seriously im lousy in academic stuff. bah. how did i end up in nus is a mystery. and nus is so grade conscious, u cant do much there with mediocre results.
ok its the new year and i shall talk abt more happy stuff.... like i saw 3 or 4 or more locations bursting with fireworks from my bangkok hotel room at the same time. and it makes me wonder that all this while ive been saying how we should book a hotel room in sg to watch the fireworks...and this time we did, just not in sg! which makes it so much cooler. hurhur.
4 days in bangkok is really not enuf. din even manage to cover all the must-go shopping malls but at least i din come home empty handed.
stockist
1 top, 1 shirt from zara
1 top from mango
1 belt, sunnies (which disappeared), pencil case from chatuchak
3 bags, 1 shoes from MBK
1 fake gucci bag from patpong
1 lappy case from isetan
and lotsa tidbits from chinatown + siam paragon supermarket
hmmm is that all? seems like not alot!
anw i find it dumb that i went all the way there to buy from zara and mango. but no choice la. i need a proper fitting room and clothes that have a range of sizes. those market shops dun have proper fitting rooms. some dun even allow u to try. unless im super skinny i dun mind but im not. hur. shopping there isnt that great but MBK is really cheap. like 199 baht for most stuff. and u have to digggggggggg for nice bags/ shoes. which is why i only got 1 pair. quality is a prb too. so most likely u'll have to compromise either one.
oh but i love sitting the tuktuk~ its exhilarating! =)) the cab fare there is dirtcheap too but mostly, we took the sky train to get around. even so, there was alot of walking done. i hope i lost some weight. hah.
its just fun to travel without any adults/ tourgroups cos its OTOT. i want to go free and easy in taipei! now that ive been there i kinda noe which place can be omitted and stuff. lalala. $$$$.
