ok maybe not. noone checked the forecast. hurhur.
it was HOT and SUNNY when we arrived at sentosa on the new monorail! but the unpredictable weather changed after a SHORT tram ride to siloso beach.
barely after half an hour, dark clouds loomed above, it started drizzling so we moved to a holeless shelter. thankfully the drizzling stopped after a while and pretty fluffy white clouds started appearing. =) but the sun was nowhere to be seen still.
and typical of any girl outing, we took crazy pics. camwhoring like noone's biz. and gy was our unofficial photog attempting to take artistic and flattering pix of us in our not so flattering bikinis. >.< i had horrible hair thanks to the wind!
we finally ate our subway lunch which had been sitting on the sand for a couple of hours. and the sun started coming back. *wheeEE*
gy and aly swam to the island while jas and i tanned and vice versa after they came back. and now jas knows i cant waddle. =XXXxxx
it was the 1st time i swam to the island. basically its nth much...just a nice getaway from the crowd and getting a third person view of whats going on on the main beach.
cafe del mar looked tacky in the day and the music played is so chilled out that it makes me sleepy.
after dunno how long, we swam back, tanned for awhile, took more pix till aly needed to leave for her photoshoot. and the rest of us plunged into the sea again~
it was fun letting the waves take you and getting pushed towards the shore (except getting sand into all parts of our bottoms!)
it was fun just floating faceup and staring at the nice blue sky.
it was fun seeing the weird things gy picked up from the sea floor (ewwwwww).
it was fun receiving pretteh sea shells from her.
it was fun building sand castles which didnt really look like a castle but a ni**le. =x
it was fun making fun of gy's weird sand structure which lent a peek literally into your future partner. =D
and it was fun acting like small giggly girls again. the operative word being 'act'.
so thats how i spent my day on one fine tuesday. tired tired tiRED!

the beyootiful sunset which is more beyootiful and pink in reality, taken inadequately by my phone cam.
