it was held in costa sands and the chalet is like, real small. once uve been to aloha, u'll nvr view chalets the same again.
hm, there was his other frens as well. din really mix with them. haha. cun blame us for that. me, janice and khai were like the last few ppl who arrived. and din manage to do any nite cycling cos the shop closed at 7. hmm so we ate the catered food, watched a lil bit of sg idol rerun (jon is SO CUTE !) and began to self entertain by taking grp pix. and there was chivas, bacardi and absolut raspberri! must have cost a bomb. after a while, we brought out yonghui's baked cake and sang happy bday song. he then brought out his own huge cake and we sang another time. yong hui's cake was delicious!! must go n buy the mixture~~ den we went to the beach, lighted candles on the sand, decided to burn the cake box and dumped everything into one whole pile like a bonfire. cool. noone was staying over so we went back to bid him goodbye, had one last toast and he walked us out. it was qt a funny sight when we went back to the chalet. it was like some illegal gambling den. haha. theres a table of mahjong, cards and alcohol. jus no smoking. hurhur. anw colin din come so me, krys and joc took cab home. rawr.
anw met khai in the afternn at yishun cos he wanted to go to safra to film some malay rockclimbing event for his proj. yea once again, i felt like a minority cos obviously i was like one of the few chinese there. its like when i accompanied him to bugis and kampong glam on thur to visit the hari raya pasar malams. i was the minority again ! felt so self conscious being in another territory. after that,we went back to my condo's "void deck" (whatever u call that) to study for awhile and we headed to pasir ris tgt. not tt long a ride after all.
