today yesterday is polling day!! how exciting can tt be. the report on the election started at 10pm n lasted all the way thru now. tho its abit irritating tt they kept repeating the stats. i pity the newscasters. anyway, its expected lee hsien loong and team would come out tops in amk grc but notice the %tage of votes they got vis-a-vis the oppn. 60+% vs 30+%. tsk. lee's hopes for a strong mandate is gone. this would do some gd to deflate his ego. n he promised to make amk a more exciting place. y din u start doing it a few yrs back?? its as boring as eva. n the new amk mall is taking foreva!! duh.
all in all, the polling results are all qt similar actually. the fact is tt the oppn is gaining ground and more singaporeans are inclined to them esp now tt wp is seemed to be credible enuf. for aljunied, the margin is so slight its surprising! looks like pap's ploy of sensationalising the james gomez issue totally paved the way for wp. residents arent dumb. and based on the tv footage, wheneva the oppn won, the cheers from the various coffeeshops would be deafening whereas when pap won, there were only a few ppl jus sitting there n watching the tv. tt really hit the point. hm. i wished there were more oppn who won tho. its still hougang n potong pasir. the carrots n sm goh din work after all.how sad.

anyhow, its also mtv asia awards ! was watching it side by side with the elections thingy. n tata young was everywhere again!! urgh. the song she sang with lee ryan was so boring. could hardy hear the piano backup. so disappointing. and taufik won??!! like wth. when his name was announced there were hardly any cheers. noone noes him at all. y is he fave sg artist??! jolin's performance was pretty entertaining much as i'd like to admit. n daniel powter's romancing w his piano. hmm actually i think last yr's awards was more interesting, i dunno. the lack of chemistry between lee hom n kelly rowland was so apparent it hurts. an odd pairing if u may ask.
